oikos St.Gallen PhD Platform
The 'oikos St.Gallen PhD Platform' is a virtual and personal space to exchange and network for PhD students in the area of sustainable economics and management at the University of St.Gallen. With a mailing list, colloquiums and a yearly workshop, the Platform supports PhD students working on sustainable development to advance the relevance and rigour of your research, develop and apply innovative learning and teaching models for sustainability at the University and provide a bridge to practice.
Who can participate?
The PhD Platform is open for internal and external PhD students from all PhD programmes at the University of St.Gallen who conduct their PhD in the broad area of sustainable economics and management. This encompasses themes like
– environmental economics,
– environmental management,
– development issues,
– social entrepreneurship,
– diversity management,
– business ethics,
– corporate social responsibility or
– cultural change for sustainability.
The Faculty Angels
A high-level board of academics from the University of St.Gallen supports the Platform as 'Faculty Angels'. They are invited to attend oikos PhD Platform colloquiums as commentators within their field of expertise.
